Andrew O'Hara
Andrew has worked in the baking industry for over 40 years. After completing his bread baking apprenticeship in New Zealand, he headed to the UK where he gained invaluable experience at the London City & Guilds Patisserie. Andrew has judged at several international competitions.
Brendan Carter
Growing up in the small Victorian town of Heywood, Brendan spent his afternoons and weekends working shifts at the local bakery.
Brendan worked teaching at William Angliss and doing secondments with the Australian Wheat Board. For the past five years Brendan has been the Bakery Teacher at Ballarat’s Federation University.
Brendan brings a wealth of experience as a judge, judging many national competitions.
Ron Omelvena
Ron brings 55yrs of experience within the NZ baking industry. He once was the youngest to serve on the executive board of Baking NZ and brings a wealth of technical expertise as a judge.
