Hamish Robertson – Director Hospo Spaces Pty Ltd

After 30+ years in the food and beverage industry, Hamish decided to alter his career direction. He now delivers consulting and design services to the hospitality sector in Adelaide and Australia.

His innate passion for food, extensive professional experience, and unwavering commitment to his craft led to his role as Director of Cuisine with Adelaide Oval. in September 2021 he began his new journey.

Hamish Robertson has earned a reputation as one of Australia’s most innovative and respected chefs.

With a career experience in venues from Convention Centres, Casinos, Five Star Hotels to Sporting Venues, i.e., Colonial Stadium (now Etihad Stadium), Adelaide Oval, and the Athletes Village in Sydney for the 2000 Olympic Games, Hamish has not only an excellent understanding of large-scale kitchen operations but also an appreciation for corporate and special occasion dining expectations.

She has over 40 years’ experience in environmental and strategic planning, working with the mining industry, universities, state and national governments. After leaving the role of Senior Executive with the national Department of Environment in 2015, she has been a strategic consultant on complex environmental management projects, including for the past 5 years focussing on working with industry and governments to reduce food waste.
